We are based in New York City – Manhattan, and our sister company is in London. We are open to remote working but while we will not expect you to attend the office on a daily basis, there will be occasions when it is encouraged.

What’s it all about?

We’re looking for a solid B2B content writer with the ambition to do things differently. Someone who wants to hone their craft as a writer, but to also add more strings to their bow: perhaps become the go-to on podcast production, or excel in creating social content for business leaders on less traditional platforms like Tik Tok and Twitch. It’s an opportunity to become a really well-rounded B2B content creator. With a diverse client portfolio, you’ll have a huge breadth of content opportunities, allowing for lots of scope to be imaginative and to try new things. This role is for someone who has already put some work into their B2B career (rather than coming straight out of school or B2C) and has a portfolio that shows us what you can do. We’re looking for ambition and evidence that B2B content is your calling. We’re really flexible when it comes to office-based or remote working (and not just since Covid) so it’s all up for discussion.

What you’ll be doing

  • Writing impactful copy with a compelling tone of voice, and excellent spelling and grammar 
  • Trying your hand at a range of formats: want to write a podcast script, try a new infographic layout, do thought leadership that isn’t a dusty whitepaper? We’re all ears. 
  • Producing web copy with an eye on SEO without losing sight of keeping things sounding human 
  • Exploring sales enablement formats and the best ways to create a buzz amongst our client’s internal teams
  • Dissecting briefs, challenging them when appropriate and making sure you have everything you need to get started
  • Helping to come up with creative content formats that push the parameters of B2B content
  • Collaborating with the Strategy team, Creative and Client Services teams 

And to avoid any confusion, what you won’t be doing: 

  • Writing advertisements 
  • Creating billboard straplines 
  • Coming up with Twitter hashtags

About you

  • About 5-6 years’ content marketing experience, agency experience preferred
  • A love for writing, a stickler for spelling and grammar
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to stay calm, multitask and keep up in a very fast paced environment
  • A sense of humor, gung ho attitude, and the ability to take feedback on the chin (but also the backbone to stand up for your point of view)
  • An enthusiasm for B2B, enjoying the challenge of taking a complex brief and turning it into something fun, innovative and unexpected 
  • A knowledge of content marketing best practices and what is happening in the industry, with an understanding of the sales funnel 
  • A willingness to want to collaborate and be inspired by others
